The new art string quartet was originally founded by michael ma in philadelphia and later became the quartet in residence at the school of fine arts of the university of oklahoma in the united states 香港演艺弦乐四重奏源自美国费城，由小提琴家马忠为始创，之后更成为美国奥克拉荷马大学艺术学院驻校四重奏，并经常受邀到世界各地演出，其足迹遍布美国、加拿大、以色列、荷兰、比利时及英国等地，广受爱乐人士欢迎。
